DTE 2027

Objectives

Digital twin technologies, together with data-driven modeling, physics-based simulation, and artificial intelligence, are transforming the way complex engineering systems are designed, operated, and maintained across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, healthcare, and environmental systems. These technologies enable predictive capabilities, real-time decision making, and lifecycle optimization, thereby addressing pressing global challenges related to sustainability, resilience, and safety.

The objective of the 4th IACM Digital Twins in Engineering Conference (DTE2027) is to provide a premier international forum for presenting and discussing the latest scientific and technological advances in digital twin methodologies and applications. The conference aims to accelerate the integration of data-centric and physics-based approaches, fostering breakthroughs in modeling, simulation, uncertainty quantification, real-time computing, cyber-physical systems, and intelligent infrastructure.

DTE2027 will feature interdisciplinary technical sessions, plenary and semi-plenary lectures by leading experts, industry-oriented presentations, and activities dedicated to young researchers and students. By bringing together academia, industry, and government stakeholders, the conference seeks to promote knowledge exchange, technological innovation, and practical implementation of digital twin technologies in real-world engineering systems.

Vision

The vision of DTE2027 is to serve as a global platform for advancing next-generation digital twin technologies through the integration of data science, computational mechanics, and physics-based engineering. The conference aims to foster international collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange among academia, industry, and government.

By accelerating the development of intelligent, adaptive, and sustainable digital twins, DTE2027 seeks to contribute to safer infrastructure, resilient systems, and a more sustainable society in the era of digital transformation.
